My Core Beliefs and Values
In comparison to the core beliefs and values of SBRHS, my own beliefs are that with the help of a Microsoft Office class I will be able to excel in the things I am passionate about in my own life. Being an SBRHS student allows me to think critically while also applying concepts I learn to practical life situations. With the help of new knowledge with computers, I will be able to exceed my core values and be able to be a key factor in todays growing society. In school I always push myself to do the best of my ability, and in turn I believe that eventually I will be even more successful in life then I already am.
Reflection
This school year is coming to an end and being in Microsoft Office has taught me a lot about my future, myself and my social skills. Through learning different office skills all year, I will be able to apply them in my future as a nurse. Depending on what type of document I need to create in the future, I have many options to turn to because I was exposed to many in Microsoft Office. I learned about myself as well as my values in this course as well. I learned from researching my career and taking surveys that I do in fact want to become a nurse! My social skills also developed throughout the year. Being a senior I didn't think I would try to become friends with the underclassmen because I would be leaving. But, from being in Microsoft Office I learned that being a good role model for the underclassmen meant I would in fact have to talk and in some instances, become friends with them. I met a sophomore, Erica Dube, and I had no idea who she was.. But she actually taught me more things about the course, then I think I could've taught her. Microsoft Office was a good choice in the long run and I'm glad I learned so many things that I can apply to the real world when I graduate in a few weeks.
